WordPress Form to WhatsApp - Works with Any Form Plugin

Contact Form 7, Gravity Forms, WPForms, Forminator, Ninja Forms, and Elementor Forms all send email notifications. FormBeep adds WhatsApp alerts without replacing the plugin or changing the form.

How it works

FormBeep is a script tag, not another WordPress plugin. It watches the page for form submissions, so it works at the page level with almost any plugin that renders a standard HTML form.

1. Sign up at FormBeep and add your domain and WhatsApp number.
2. Add the script through a code snippets plugin such as WPCode, or paste it in footer.php before </body>.
3. Submit a test form and confirm the alert arrives in WhatsApp.

Contact Form 7

No CF7 form configuration changes are needed. Keep wp_mail() notifications and add the FormBeep script to the page.

Gravity Forms

FormBeep captures fields from multi-page forms, conditional logic, and calculated fields before a confirmation redirect.

WPForms

WPForms and WPForms Lite work with the same page-level script. AJAX submissions are supported.

Forminator and other plugins

Forminator, Ninja Forms, Fluent Forms, Formidable Forms, HappyForms, and other plugins work when they output standard <form> elements.

Why not use an unofficial WordPress WhatsApp plugin?

Some plugins automate WhatsApp Web sessions, which can break when Meta changes its detection systems. They may also introduce plugin conflicts or require a phone to remain connected. FormBeep runs its own notification infrastructure and does not require an unofficial WhatsApp Web session.

A practical setup for client sites

For a freelancer or agency, the page-level approach is useful because it avoids committing to one WordPress form plugin. You can inherit a site using Contact Form 7, build the next site with WPForms, and use the same FormBeep notification workflow on both. Add the script through a controlled code snippets plugin, test each form, and keep the plugin’s existing email notification as a backup.

If a form is loaded dynamically or inside a custom modal, test that specific flow before launch. Verify the real visitor path: open the page, complete the fields, submit, see the success state, and confirm the WhatsApp alert contains the important fields.
